Shri S.R.Rajagopal, born on 7th February 1943, completed his B.E. in Electrical branch from Mysore University in 1964. Soon after completing his degree, he started his career as Junior Engineer in K.E.B. He has worked in different capacities at Hubli, Bangalore, Jog falls, Munirabad and Shimoga. As a result of his continuous and non-tiring efforts, he attained the post of Chief Engineer.
Today, SPRC is proud to have a retired Chief Engineer from KPTCL now working as Chief Technical Officer. With the support of his sound technical background, the testing team of SPRC is in a position to conduct the tests on power equipments without facing any sort of problems. Shri S.R.Rajagopal has 36 years of vast experience in various fields of telecommunication, load despatch and relay testing. Testing & Commissioning of 2 nos. of 55 MVA, 220/110 kV transformers at Ambewadi sub-station and repair, Testing & Commissioning of 100 MVA, 220/110 kV English Electric transformers at SRS, Hubli, are the very few examples of important works done by him. He achieved the creditability in developing the grounding systems of sub-stations in Hubli zone.
Under the able guidance of Shri S.R.Rajagopal,.SPRC is emerging as a leading testing laboratory in global market. |
